February 19    *SHROVETIDE / CARNIVAL

Traditional walk-about of the Carnival procession which is listed in the Representative Register of Non-material Cultural Human Heritage (UNESCO). The walk-about is performed by the folk group from Vortová village near Hlinsko, 10 am - 4 pm.

April 23 - 25  *EASTER IN VESELÝ KOPEC
Opening of the visitor´s season, demonstration of Easter objects production and their sale. Cultural programme, 10 am - 3 pm.

May 21    *POTTER'S SATURDAY

Demonstrations of the pottery production, the sale of potter´s products. Cultural programme, 9 am - 4 pm.

June to September  *VESELÝ KOPEC BELONGS TO CHILDREN AND THEIR PARENTS

From June to September, families  can play an interesting game during the tour in particular expositions. Demonstrations of some crafts and special assosiated programmes  on certain Saturdays and Sundays. More on www.vesely-kopec.eu

July 16 - 17  *VESELÝ KOPEC FAIR

The sale of folk craftsmen's products, cultural programme, 9 am - 4 pm.

September 10   *COUNTRY FAIR

Traditional meals and customs, demonstrations of bee breedingcultural programme, 10 am - 3 pm.

October 2  * THE POTATO SATURDAY

Opportunity to taste traditional potato meals and to learn everything about growing, the use and storage of potatoes, 10 am - 3 pm.

December 11    *PRE-CHRISTMAS FAIR

Sale of folk craftsmen's products, 9 am - 3 pm.

Seasonal exhibitions:

April 23 - October 21    *LOVELY SOUP IS ON MONDAY....

Exhibition in the estate from Mokrá Lhota dedicated to traditional diet and traditional ways of preparing the meals.

December 3 - 11   *CHRISTMAS IN VESELÝ KOPEC

Exhibitions in all buildings showing traditional  folk customs, presents, decorations, pasteries, cultural programme. Open daily 9 am - 4 pm.
